Raúl Contreras Herrera
Head of AI at Dot Com Media Moguls
I build AI systems that run in production — and I teach people to build them, in a room, in Tijuana.
Clases presenciales · Tijuana
No ocho demos sueltas.
Talks & workshops
AI, creativity, and getting people to build things.
I speak about applied AI and about why building something together works better than explaining technology at people — the same argument as the classes, aimed at a room instead of a group.
Talks run in Spanish or English. Workshop formats are hands-on: the audience leaves with something they made, which is the only version I know how to run.
Topics
- Applied AI in small teams
- AI as a creative tool
- Teaching technical skills to non-technical people
- Parents and teenagers building together

Production systems
First one in. A team by the time I leave.
Each of these started the same way: one engineer, no team, and something that had to exist in production before anyone would fund a second hire. I build that first version with the tracing and the safety gates already on it, because the version that proves the idea is the one everything else gets built on.
Then the part that decides whether it lasts — runbooks, a review bar, and hiring and training the people who take it over.
Track record
- 61
- production AI agents
- 700+
- tools across 140 modules
- 9
- live customer phone lines
- 5+
- engineers trained and promoted
Three VPS on a WireGuard mesh, two Postgres clusters with pgvector, Langfuse tracing on every run, and phone lines priced off measured per-minute cost from production call logs rather than a vendor sheet.
Failure modes are structural rather than documented: destructive DDL revoked from the application's database role, and a deploy tool that refuses schema changes without an explicit migration flag.
BiB — one platform, four verticals
Denterly (Dental)
Answers calls, books appointments, follows up with patients around the clock.
Counserly (Law)
Qualifies and intakes new matters on the call, books consultations to the calendar.
Airable (HVAC)
Books service calls and installs on the line, triages jobs, follows up on quotes.
Cadensell (Sales)
An OS for teams of AI sales reps — voice dialing, live call analytics, one SDR command centre.
RevAds
Founding engineer — Private beta — limited initial cohort
Google Ads auditing for service businesses rather than e-commerce — reviews keywords and ad copy, flags wasted spend, and says exactly what to fix.
Hired twice by the same person.
The president of a Wisconsin marketing agency hired me, then sold the company with me on the team. After I was recruited away, she came back and asked me to be the founding engineer at her next venture — RevAds, now in private beta.

Things that are finished and playable.
Browser games, all built solo, all still live — a neon shooter, a 3D virtual pet, a mobile fighting game, a party board game, a gothic Bomberman-like, a papercraft-horror roguelite, a dream platformer and an arena survival.
Also a hand-bound micro-press I run with my wife, and a Windows 95 simulator that exists because I wanted to find out whether I could.
